The removal of Yahusha’s true Name and Hebrew identity was not an innocent linguistic shift but a deliberate move by Constantine and the Roman Catholic Church to reshape the faith into a Greco-Roman religion. The early Natsarim (followers of Yahusha) kept the Torah, used the sacred Hebrew Names, and observed Yahuah’s appointed times. However, as the Roman Empire absorbed Christianity, the true faith was systematically altered, rebranded, and stripped of its Hebraic roots.

1. Constantine’s Political Agenda: Merging Paganism with Christianity
Constantine’s Motive: Unifying the Roman Empire
By the early 4th century, the Roman Empire was politically unstable, divided by religious factions. Emperor Constantine sought to unify his empire under a single religious system.

 Daniel 7:25 – “And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the set-apart ones of the Most High, and intend to change appointed times and law.”

 Constantine’s ultimate goal was to merge Christianity with Roman pagan traditions, creating a universal religion (Catholicism).

 This meant erasing anything that appeared too “Jewish,” including:
• The Hebrew Names (Yahuah and Yahusha).
• The Torah and its commandments.
• The biblical Sabbath and feast days.

 Hosea 4:6 – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from serving as My priest. Since you have forgotten the Torah of your Elohim, I also forget your children.”

 The shift from Hebrew faith to a Roman religion was the greatest deception in history.

2. The Council of Nicaea (325 AD): The Birth of a Romanized Christianity

 The Council of Nicaea was the turning point where the Roman government took control of Christianity.
What Happened at Nicaea?
Constantine gathered 318 bishops and forced them to decide which doctrines would be accepted or rejected.

 The Torah-observant Natsarim believers were declared heretics.

 The Hebrew Name Yahusha (יהושע) was replaced with the Greek name Iēsous (Ἰησοῦς).

 The doctrine of the Trinity was enforced, a concept rooted in Greek philosophy.

 The biblical Sabbath was outlawed and replaced with Sunday worship (Sun-god day).

 The Passover (Pesach) was forbidden and replaced with Easter (named after the pagan goddess Ishtar).

 Exodus 23:13 – “And in all that I have said to you, take heed. And make no mention of the name of other mighty ones, let it not be heard from your mouth.”

 The name “Jesus” was made standard because it fit the Greco-Roman system better than Yahusha.

 Before Constantine, believers still used the Hebrew Names.
• The Apostolic writings contained the Name Yahusha (יהושע) instead of Iēsous.
• Early believers in Yahusha continued observing the Torah (Acts 21:20).
• The biblical Sabbath was still observed.

 But after Nicaea, all Hebrew elements were outlawed.

 Jeremiah 8:8 – “How do you say, ‘We are wise, and the Torah of יהוה is with us’? But look, the false pen of the scribes has worked falsehood!”

 The Catholic Church suppressed Yahusha’s true Name and replaced it with a Greek-Latin version (Jesus).

The Key Changes That Corrupted the True Faith:

 The Name of the Messiah was changed from Yahusha (יהושע) to Iēsous (Ἰησοῦς) and later Jesus.

 The Sabbath was outlawed and replaced with Sunday worship, honoring the Sun god (Sol Invictus).

 The biblical feast days were forbidden and replaced with pagan holidays like Christmas and Easter.

 The Torah was declared obsolete, leading to lawlessness and disobedience.

 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – “Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessness is to be revealed.”

 This “falling away” happened when the Roman Church erased the Hebrew foundation of faith.

 What was once a Hebrew faith became a fully Romanized religion:

• Sabbath and feasts were replaced with pagan customs.
• The Roman Church took full control of doctrine.

 The result? Millions have been deceived into following a faith that has been stripped of its original truth.

 Revelation 14:1 – “And I looked and saw a Lamb standing on Mount Tsiyon, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s Name written upon their foreheads.”

 Malachi 3:16 – “Then shall those who fear יהוה speak to one another, and יהוה listen and hear, and a book of remembrance be written before Him, of those who fear יהוה, and those who think upon His Name.”

 Prophecy foretells that Yahuah will restore His Name to His people!

 The Roman Catholic Church, through Constantine, systematically removed the Hebrew identity of faith and replaced it with a Greco-Roman counterfeit.
