INTRODUCTION: TIME IS NOT A HUMAN CONSTRUCT
Scripture never treats time as flexible, relative, or defined by human systems. Time is created, ordered, and governed by Yahuah Himself. From the opening words of Bereโshith, time is established through light, darkness, evening, and morningโnot clocks, not zones, not institutions.
When Scripture defines time, it does so through the sunโs movement and the rhythm of creation, not through centralized human authority. This matters because obedience is tied to when things are done, not merely that they are done.
Confusion about time produces confusion about obedience.
THE DAY: EVENING TO EVENING BY THE SUN
A biblical day begins at sundown and ends at the next sundown. This is not symbolic. It is repeated, consistent, and never contradicted.
โEvening and morningโ is the pattern of creation.
The day is governed by the sun setting and rising where you are.
This means:
A day does not begin at midnight
A day does not begin by decree
A day is not synchronized by man
The sun establishes the cycle locally, because Yahuah created the sun to rule the day.
This is why, no matter where you are, the day still begins at sundown according to the sun.
JERUSALEM: THE CENTER, NOT A TIME ZONE
While the day is kept locally according to the sun, Jerusalem remains the covenantal center.
Jerusalem is not a universal clock. It is a reference point.
From Jerusalem:
The calendar is anchored
The moedim are declared
The feasts are set
The covenantal order flows outward
Scripture consistently places authority, instruction, and witness in the land. The nations do not redefine time for JerusalemโJerusalem defines the covenantal framework that the nations align to.
Time flows from the land, but the keeping of the day follows the sun where you stand.
Both are true. Neither contradicts the other.
WHY THIS MATTERS: OBEDIENCE IS NOT ABSTRACT
If time were universalized by man, obedience would become theoretical. But Yahuah tied obedience to creation order, not institutional order.
This ensures:
No nation controls covenant time
No system can alter Yahuahโs appointed rhythm
No priesthood or empire can redefine the day
The sun does not lie. Creation does not drift. Only men do.
THE ERROR PEOPLE MAKE
People try to force one of two errors:
Making Jerusalem a global clock (which Scripture never does), or
Severing Jerusalem from covenant authority altogether
Both errors break the biblical model.
Scripture holds both:
Jerusalem as the center
The sun as the daily marker
Remove either, and the system collapses.
COVENANT LOGIC RESTORED
Time is covenantal, not mechanical.
The day is local, not centralized.
Jerusalem is authoritative, not controlling.
This preserves:
Unity without uniformity
Obedience without domination
Order without confusion
Yahuah did not design time to enslave His people. He designed it to train them in faithfulness.
FINAL WARNING
If someone cannot keep time as Scripture defines it, they will never keep covenant as Scripture requires it.
Time is the foundation. Distort the foundation, and everything built on it cracks.
CLOSING CHARGE
Do not follow manโs systems.
Do not import foreign frameworks.
Do not โmodernizeโ what Yahuah already perfected.
Stand where you are. Watch the sun. Honor the rhythm. Align with the center.
This is not complicated. It is faithful.
If this work has stood with you, stand with it. โ 99ยข per month keeps it going.
