THE COVENANT WAR

Exposing Churchianity, Restoring Covenant Continuity, and Defending the Apostolic Witness

When Systems Replace Scripture, the Word Must Be Guarded

PART THREE — LAWLESS GRACE EXPOSED

Grace That Trains Versus Grace That Excuses

If Your “Grace” Produces Lawlessness, It Is Not Grace

Grace has been hijacked.

In churchianity, grace is commonly preached as a spiritual exemption: forgiven means unaccountable, saved means untouchable, faith means no obligation, and “not under law” is treated as freedom from Torah itself.

That is not Scripture.

That is a counterfeit gospel dressed in comforting words.

If a doctrine produces lawlessness, it is not from Yahuah. It is not from the covenant. And it is not from the apostolic witness. It is a system designed to keep people religious, emotional, and compliant while keeping them untrained, undisciplined, and disobedient.

The issue is not whether grace is real. Grace is real.

The issue is whether grace is being defined biblically or being weaponized to dismantle covenant obedience.

Scripture does not treat grace as permission. It treats grace as power.

It is not a loophole. It is a transformation engine.

Titus 2:11–14 is the death sentence to “greasy grace”:

“The grace of Elohim that brings deliverance has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and reverently in the present age… zealous for good works.”

Grace teaches. Grace trains. Grace disciplines. Grace produces a purified people.

If what you call grace does not train you out of sin, then it is not biblical grace. It is a false covering.

Now expose the root deception: churchianity tells people they are “free” while quietly redefining sin.

Because if sin is undefined, then repentance becomes optional, holiness becomes symbolic, and obedience becomes “legalism.”

But Scripture defines sin.

1 John 3:4 states it plainly: “Sin is lawlessness.”

Lawlessness is not merely “being a bad person.” Lawlessness is covenant rebellion—life lived outside the authority of Torah, outside the defined will of Yahuah, outside the boundaries of the covenant King.

So the moment someone preaches “grace” while dismissing Torah, they create a doctrinal contradiction:

They claim sin is forgiven, while erasing the definition of sin.

They claim repentance is necessary, while removing the standard that shows what must be repented of.

They claim holiness matters, while calling the covenant constitution irrelevant.

That is not good news. That is confusion on purpose.

Churchianity also weaponizes Paul to enforce this confusion.

Romans 6:14—“not under law but under grace”—is preached as “not under Torah.” But Paul’s argument in Romans 6 is not “Torah is over.” Paul’s argument is that you have changed masters.

Romans 6 is a master-text on slavery. You are either a slave of sin or a slave of righteousness. You either obey sin leading to death or obey righteousness leading to life.

That is covenant logic.

Grace does not free you from obedience. It frees you from sin’s mastery so you can obey.

Romans 6:1–2 shuts down the churchian gospel cold: “Shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound? Absolutely not.”

So when someone uses “grace” to continue in sin, they are contradicting Paul while claiming Paul.

That is the insanity of churchianity: it invokes Paul while violating Paul.

Then it tries to escape the weight of obedience by redefining “works.”

Scripture does not teach that obedience is the enemy.

Scripture teaches that salvation is not purchased by human merit.

But churchianity collapses everything into one bucket and then labels all covenant obedience as “works righteousness.”

That is either ignorance or dishonesty.

James 2 says faith without works is dead. James does not teach merit-based redemption. He teaches evidence. Fruit. Proof.

If you claim covenant loyalty but produce lawlessness, your claim is dead.

Yahusha Himself makes this unavoidable. Matthew 7 warns that many will say “Master, Master” while practicing lawlessness, and He will reject them. That is terrifying. It means the correct vocabulary and religious identity can coexist with lawless practice.

So the question is not “Did you say the right things?”

The question is “Did you submit to the covenant King?”

Churchianity also tries to protect its lawlessness by hiding behind a false separation: “Old Testament versus New Testament.”

But covenant does not work that way.

The Torah is the covenant constitution. The Prophets prosecute covenant breach and announce covenant restoration. The Writings teach wisdom within covenant life. The apostolic writings declare Messiah’s covenant fulfillment and call the nations into covenant loyalty under Him.

That is continuity.

So when someone says, “Grace replaced Torah,” they are not preaching good news. They are preaching a new religion—exactly what the anti–New Testament critics accuse the apostles of doing.

And here is the iron trap: lawless churchianity created the evidence that anti-NT movements use to attack the apostolic witness.

Anti-NT critics look at modern Christianity and say, “This is corrupt—therefore the apostolic writings are false.”

But the corruption is not the apostolic writings.

The corruption is the churchian system that redefined grace into lawlessness.

So both sides are wrong:

Churchianity is wrong because it preaches grace without obedience.

Anti-NT reactionism is wrong because it attacks the witnesses rather than the distortion.

Now expose the doctrinal mechanics of greasy grace.

Greasy grace depends on these lies:

Sin is primarily “not believing,” not lawlessness.

If sin is reduced to unbelief alone, obedience becomes irrelevant. But Scripture defines sin as lawlessness (1 John 3:4) and defines repentance as turning from transgression back to covenant alignment.

Faith is mental agreement, not covenant faithfulness.

Hebraic faith is loyalty, trust, and obedience flowing from relationship. A mental-only “faith” is a Western abstraction that produces barren religion.

Messiah delivers you from Torah, not from sin.

Scripture teaches deliverance from sin’s power and condemnation, not deliverance from covenant instruction. Messiah restores covenant life. He does not erase it.

“Led by the Spirit” means unconstrained by Torah.

Jeremiah 31 says Torah is written on the heart. Ezekiel 36 says the Spirit causes obedience. The Spirit does not lead people into lawlessness. Counterfeit spirituality does.

“Love” replaces commandments.

This is one of the most deceitful modern slogans. Scripture defines love as covenant loyalty. Torah defines love in action. Obedience is not opposed to love; it is love expressed.

Once those lies are accepted, the system can preach comfort while producing compromise.

And compromise is the point.

Because a lawless religion is easy to market, easy to scale, easy to institutionalize, and easy to keep unchallenged.

But covenant faithfulness is not easy.

It costs something.

It requires training, discipline, repentance, accountability, and endurance.

That is why greasy grace is so popular: it offers benefits without transformation.

But Scripture does not recognize that offer as legitimate.

Now we tighten the noose with end-time diagnosis.

Revelation does not describe the remnant as “grace-only believers who disregard commandments.” It describes the saints in covenant terms.

Revelation 12:17: those who keep the commandments of Elohim and hold the testimony of Yahusha.

Revelation 14:12: the endurance of the saints—those who keep the commandments of Elohim and the faith of Yahusha.

So any doctrine that trains people away from commandments is training them away from the end-time identity of the saints.

That is not a small doctrinal disagreement. That is a survival issue.

And now we say it plainly:

A gospel that excuses lawlessness is not the gospel.

A grace that does not train obedience is not grace.

A faith that produces no covenant fruit is dead.

A “Spirit” that leads away from Torah is not the Ruach of Yahuah.

Churchianity must be exposed because it is not merely “a different style.” It is a system that produces lawlessness while claiming to honor Messiah.

That is why it is dangerous.

And it is why Weapon Three matters: it is the heart of the counterfeit.

Because once grace is corrupted, everything else is corrupted.

Translation manipulation changes vocabulary.

But greasy grace changes souls.

It makes people comfortable in rebellion.

It inoculates them against repentance.

It teaches them to call evil “freedom” and obedience “bondage.”

That is upside-down religion.

That is not covenant.

Now the line is drawn.

If you want the grace of Scripture, you must accept what grace does: it trains you out of sin and into covenant faithfulness.

If you reject that training, you are not rejecting “legalism.”

You are rejecting the purpose of grace.

And you are aligning with lawlessness.

Weapon Four will put Paul on trial and destroy the “Paul invented a new religion” lie at the root—using Paul’s own words, his recorded practice, and the Torah–Prophets–Writings foundation he never left.
