THE AWAKENING OF EPHRAIM
PART 22 — FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
Your Story, Your Calling, Your Witness in the Kingdom of Elohim
Throughout this series we have spoken about Ephraim.
We have spoken about the scattering.
We have spoken about the awakening.
We have spoken about the dry bones.
We have spoken about the Two Sticks.
We have spoken about the Gospel of the Kingdom.
We have spoken about the restoration of Israel.
We have spoken about the Greater Exodus.
We have spoken about the gathering of the remnant.
We have spoken about the return of the King.
Yet all of these teachings eventually lead us to a very personal question.
Why are you here?
Why are you alive right now?
Why were you born into this generation?
Why did Elohim place you here at this moment in history?
The answer may be far greater than many realize.
Most believers are familiar with the story of Esther.
Mordecai’s challenge to Esther echoes across the centuries:
“And who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Esther did not fully understand why she had been placed where she was.
She did not fully understand the assignment.
She did not fully understand the purpose.
She only knew that she stood at a crossroads where obedience would matter.
The same is true for us.
Most of us do not fully understand every detail of Yahuah’s plan.
Most of us cannot see the entire road ahead.
Most of us do not know every step that remains.
Yet we know enough to walk in obedience.
We know enough to move forward.
We know enough to answer the call.
This is where my own story intersects with this message.
Not because my story is special.
Not because I am special.
But because every testimony points toward a greater truth.
Every testimony points toward the faithfulness of Elohim.
I was adopted.
Long before I understood covenant.
Long before I understood grafting in.
Long before I understood restoration.
Long before I understood the Gospel of the Kingdom.
I was adopted.
Looking back now, I can see lessons hidden within that story that I could not have understood as a child.
When my earthly father adopted me, I did not earn my place in the family.
I did not build the house.
I did not prepare the room.
I did not establish the inheritance.
I did not create my position within the household.
The house was prepared before I arrived.
A place had already been made for me.
A room had already been prepared for me.
A family had already made room for me.
A seat had already been prepared at the table.
When mealtime came, I did not eat in the barn.
I did not eat on the porch with the dogs.
I sat at the family table.
I shared in the blessings of the household.
I shared in the responsibilities of the household.
I became part of the family.
As I grew, I learned something else.
Every household has rules.
Every household has order.
Every household has expectations.
When I walked in obedience, there were blessings.
When I walked in disobedience, there were consequences.
When I followed the instructions of the household, life generally went well.
When I rebelled, correction followed.
That is not cruelty.
That is family.
That is discipleship.
That is covenant.
That is Kingdom.
Today, when I read Scripture, I see that same pattern repeated throughout the Word of Elohim.
We are adopted into covenant.
We are brought into the household.
We are brought into the family.
We are grafted into the olive tree.
We are given a place at the table.
We are given an inheritance.
We are given a name.
We are given citizenship in the Kingdom.
Yet citizenship comes with responsibility.
Covenant comes with responsibility.
Family comes with responsibility.
The King has instructions.
The King has expectations.
The King has standards.
Not because He desires to burden His people.
But because He desires to teach His people.
Not because He desires to destroy His people.
But because He desires to prepare His people.
The more I study Scripture, the more I see that my adoption was never merely part of my personal story.
It became an illustration.
A living picture.
A testimony.
A reminder that none of us earn our place.
None of us deserve our place.
None of us establish our own inheritance.
Everything is grace.
Everything is mercy.
Everything is redemption.
Everything is restoration.
I am not here because I am worthy.
I am not here because I deserve to be here.
I am not here because I am better than anyone else.
Quite the opposite.
Scripture declares that the wages of sin is death.
If I received what I deserved, judgment would be my inheritance.
If I received what I earned, destruction would be my future.
Everything I have received has come through grace.
Everything I have received has come through mercy.
Everything I have received has come through the work of the Kinsman Redeemer.
I am a sinner saved by grace.
A servant.
A bond servant of the Most High.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
One of the greatest misconceptions people have is believing that those who teach somehow have everything figured out.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
I am a broken vessel.
I have failures.
I have weaknesses.
I have shortcomings.
I have made mistakes.
I continue to learn.
I continue to grow.
I continue to repent.
I continue to seek understanding.
Yet throughout Scripture, Yahuah has always used broken vessels.
Moses was imperfect.
David was imperfect.
Peter was imperfect.
Paul was imperfect.
The prophets were imperfect.
The apostles were imperfect.
The issue has never been perfection.
The issue has always been obedience.
The issue has always been availability.
The issue has always been willingness.
I often say that if I had been selecting people for this assignment, I probably would not have selected myself.
This is not the path I expected.
This is not the path I planned.
This is not what I imagined doing at this stage of my life.
Yet Yahuah had other plans.
Looking back, I can see His hand directing the path.
Opening doors.
Closing doors.
Providing opportunities.
Allowing challenges.
Allowing trials.
Allowing difficulties.
Allowing lessons that could not have been learned any other way.
The road has not always been easy.
At times it has been difficult.
At times it has been costly.
At times it has been lonely.
At times it has been frustrating.
At times it has been exhausting.
Yet when I look back, I can see that every part of the journey served a purpose.
Every lesson mattered.
Every challenge mattered.
Every trial mattered.
Every season mattered.
Because Yahuah was preparing a servant for an assignment.
Not because the servant was special.
But because the assignment mattered.
This is ultimately how Ephraim’s Cry was born.
Not from a desire to build a ministry.
Not from a desire to build a platform.
Not from a desire to gain followers.
Not from a desire to become known.
But from a burden.
A burden to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom.
A burden to restore a Hebraic mindset and understanding with a covenant foundation.
A burden to help people see how Elohim declares the end from the beginning.
A burden to help people discover what has been lost.
A burden to help people recover what has been forgotten.
A burden to help people understand the Four Witnesses of Elohim.
A burden to help people understand the whole counsel of His Word.
A burden to prepare people for the return of the King.
That burden became books.
That burden became teachings.
That burden became broadcasts.
That burden became conferences.
That burden became an academy.
Not because the ministry is the goal.
The Kingdom is the goal.
The King is the goal.
The Gospel is the goal.
This brings me to something that I believe is critically important.
Do not follow Greg.
Greg will make mistakes.
Greg will misunderstand things.
Greg will occasionally get things wrong.
Greg is not the standard.
Messiah is the standard.
Follow Yahusha.
Walk as He walked.
Live as He lived.
Teach what He taught.
Do what He did.
Study His Word.
Know His voice.
Follow the Shepherd.
Not the servant.
The servant points to the Shepherd.
The servant points to the King.
The servant points to the Kingdom.
The servant is never the destination.
This is where the message becomes personal for every reader.
Because every one of us has a story.
Every one of us has a testimony.
Every one of us has a purpose.
Every one of us has a calling.
Every one of us has a witness.
No two stories are identical.
No two journeys are identical.
No two callings are identical.
No two assignments are identical.
Yet every one matters.
Some are called to teach.
Some are called to serve.
Some are called to lead.
Some are called to encourage.
Some are called to raise families.
Some are called to support ministries.
Some are called to disciple others.
Some are called to be watchmen.
Some are called to be witnesses.
The assignments differ.
The King remains the same.
The paths differ.
The Kingdom remains the same.
The stories differ.
The purpose remains the same.
To glorify the King.
To proclaim the Gospel.
To advance the Kingdom.
To prepare for His return.
This is why your testimony matters.
This is why your story matters.
This is why your witness matters.
Because your life is not an accident.
Your birth was not an accident.
Your generation was not an accident.
Your experiences were not an accident.
Your struggles were not an accident.
Your victories were not an accident.
Your calling is not an accident.
Yahuah knew exactly when you would be born.
He knew exactly where you would live.
He knew exactly what generation you would inhabit.
He knew exactly what witness you would carry.
He knew exactly what assignment you would receive.
And perhaps that is the greatest lesson of all.
We have not simply stumbled into history.
We have been placed into history.
We have not simply arrived at this moment.
We have been appointed to this moment.
We have not simply appeared during these prophetic times.
We have been positioned within these prophetic times.
The awakening is not an accident.
The restoration is not an accident.
The gathering is not an accident.
The Kingdom message is not an accident.
The Gospel of the Kingdom is not an accident.
The preparation of the remnant is not an accident.
The King is gathering His people.
The Kingdom is drawing near.
The witness is spreading.
The Gospel is advancing.
And every one of us has been invited to participate.
Not because we are worthy.
Not because we are special.
Not because we deserve it.
But because Yahuah, in His wisdom and mercy, has chosen to use ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary purposes.
Therefore embrace your testimony.
Embrace your calling.
Embrace your assignment.
Embrace the Gospel.
Embrace the Kingdom.
Go into your world.
Proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Walk as Messiah walked.
Live as Messiah lived.
Teach what Messiah taught.
Prepare yourself.
Prepare your family.
Prepare others.
Because we have been chosen to live in this generation.
We have been chosen to witness these days.
We have been chosen to proclaim this message.
And perhaps, just perhaps, we have been placed here for such a time as this.
