I. The Valley of Vision
The prophet Yeḥezqel (Ezekiel) was carried by the Ruach of Yahuah into a valley — not of war, but of aftermath.
There were no armies, no banners, no walls. Only bones — dry, scattered, lifeless.
“The hand of Yahuah was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of Yahuah, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.” — Yeḥezqel (Ezekiel) 37:1
This vision was not of death itself, but of aftermath — the long silence that follows rebellion, the desolation that comes after covenant is broken.
Ephraim’s story was laid bare before the prophet’s eyes.
Centuries of disobedience had led to dispersion; dispersion had led to desolation; and desolation had turned into forgetfulness.
But Yahuah was not showing Ezekiel a tragedy — He was showing him a promise.
II. The Bones Identified — Who They Are
“These bones are the whole house of Yisra’el. See, they say, ‘Our bones are dry, our expectancy has perished, and we ourselves have been cut off!’” — Yeḥezqel (Ezekiel) 37:11
These bones were not Gentiles coming to faith; they were Israelites — the whole house of Israel, both Judah and Ephraim — the covenant people who once lived, but had long been scattered and spiritually dead.
For centuries, they wandered in exile, losing their language, their calendar, their name, and their covenant identity.
Their bloodline survived, but their knowledge died.
Their body existed, but their breath was gone.
This was not just a physical exile; it was a spiritual coma.
III. The Command to Prophesy
“Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the Word of Yahuah!’” — Yeḥezqel (Ezekiel) 37:4
Yahuah could have spoken directly, yet He chose to command the prophet to speak.
This is the divine pattern of restoration: Yahuah works through the voice of His messengers.
The restoration of Israel begins with a proclamation — the Word of Yahuah going forth to the forgotten bones of His people.
The first prophecy brings alignment:
The bones come together, “bone to its bone.”
The second prophecy brings animation:
The breath enters them, and they stand up — a great army.
This is the awakening we are witnessing now — a spiritual resurrection of identity, truth, and obedience.
IV. The Two Stages of Awakening
The first stage is structure — when the bones reconnect.
This is the rediscovery of knowledge, history, language, and Torah.
It’s when people realize that they’ve inherited lies (Jeremiah 16:19) and begin returning to ancient paths.
But knowledge alone is not life.
The second stage is Spirit — when the Ruach of Yahuah enters those who have returned to truth.
Truth without Spirit leads to pride; Spirit without truth leads to deception.
The remnant must have both.
“And I shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land.” — Yeḥezqel (Ezekiel) 37:14
The same Ruach that hovered over the waters in Bereshith (Genesis) 1:2 now hovers over the valley again — breathing creation into a nation reborn.
V. The Prophetic Parallel — From Adam to Israel
In Bereshith (Genesis) 2:7, Yahuah formed Adam from the dust and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life — nishmat chayyim.
He became a living being (nefesh chayah).
In Yeḥezqel 37, Yahuah repeats that same creative act — not with one man, but with an entire nation.
The dry bones of Israel are Adam multiplied.
The same breath that began humanity now begins the restoration of Israel.
This is the moment when the covenant people cease being a corpse of history and become a body of destiny.
VI. The Awakening in Our Generation
The modern “dry bones” awakening began quietly — individuals across nations suddenly convicted to keep Sabbath, to study Torah, to restore the Name of Yahuah, and to walk as Yahusha walked.
No denomination commanded it.
No movement organized it.
It came from above — the Ruach stirring the scattered to remember.
From Africa to America, from the islands to Europe, from Asia to the Middle East — the awakening is global, unstoppable, prophetic.
Every rediscovered commandment is a bone clicking into place.
Every voice crying out the Name of Yahuah is another breath drawn into the body.
This is not conversion — it’s resurrection.
VII. From Valley to Nation
The bones did not just rise — they became a nation again.
“And they stood upon their feet, a very great army.” — Yeḥezqel (Ezekiel) 37:10
The awakening is not about religious reform; it’s about national rebirth.
The remnant being raised today are not forming new denominations — they are forming the prophetic nucleus of the restored Kingdom of Yahuah.
Ezekiel’s valley vision is coming alive before our eyes.
The dry bones are standing.
The remnant is rising.
And the Spirit of Yahuah is breathing again through the covenant people scattered across the earth.
