THE TRINITY — TESTING THE DOCTRINE AGAINST THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF ELOHIM
PART 12 — THE BIBLICAL CONFESSION
The Father, His Son, and His Ruach

We have reached the final teaching.
For eleven parts we have tested the doctrine commonly called the Trinity against Torah, Prophets, Writings, Yahusha’s own words, the Apostolic Witness, Hebrew and Greek terminology, the major Trinitarian proof texts, and the historical development from apostolic language to later creedal formulation.
But a series like this cannot properly end merely by saying what we reject.
TRUTH MUST BUILD.
If we challenge “one essence in three persons,” then we must state positively and clearly what Scripture DOES require us to confess concerning Yahuah, Yahusha, and the Ruach ha’Qodesh.
Not according to Nicaea.
Not according to Constantinople.
Not according to Catholicism.
Not according to Protestantism.
Not according to Oneness theology.
Not according to Unitarianism.
And not according to reactionary anti-Trinitarianism.
The final question is:
WHAT DOES THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF ELOHIM ACTUALLY REQUIRE US TO BELIEVE?
FIRST — YAHUAH IS ONE
We return exactly where Scripture begins.
“Hear, O Israel: Yahuah our Elohim is one Yahuah” (Deuteronomy 6:4).
This foundation never changes.
Deuteronomy 4:35:
“Yahuah he is Elohim; there is none else beside him.”
Isaiah 45:5:
“I am Yahuah, and there is none else.”
Yahusha himself affirms the Shema in Mark 12:29.
Therefore our confession begins:
YAHUAH IS ONE.
Not because a council defined Him.
Because Scripture declares it.
YAHUAH IS THE FATHER
Scripture explicitly identifies Yahuah as Father.
Isaiah 63:16:
“Thou, O Yahuah, art our father.”
Isaiah 64:8:
“O Yahuah, thou art our father.”
The Apostolic Witness continues this identification.
Paul writes:
“To us there is but ONE GOD, THE FATHER” (1 Corinthians 8:6).
Yahusha prays:
“FATHER… that they might know THEE THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:1–3).
Therefore our confession remains:
THE ONE ELOHIM IS THE FATHER.
YAHUSHA IS THE SON OF ELOHIM
Peter’s confession was:
“Thou art the Messiah, THE SON OF THE LIVING ELOHIM” (Matthew 16:16).
Yahusha affirmed that confession.
John tells us why he wrote his Gospel:
“That ye might believe that Jesus is THE CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD” (John 20:31).
At Yahusha’s immersion, the Father declares:
“This is MY BELOVED SON.”
The Apostolic Witness consistently identifies Yahusha as:
THE SON.
Not the Father.
THE SON OF ELOHIM.
That is not a diminished confession.
It is the confession Scripture gives us.
YAHUSHA IS NOT THE FATHER
This series has demonstrated this repeatedly.
The Father sends.
The Son is sent.
The Father loves.
The Son is loved.
The Father commands.
The Son obeys.
The Father teaches.
The Son receives.
The Father gives.
The Son receives.
The Father exalts.
The Son is exalted.
The Son prays to the Father.
The Son returns to the Father.
The Son sits at the Father’s right hand.
The Son calls the Father:
“MY GOD.”
Therefore:
THE FATHER IS NOT THE SON.
THE SON IS NOT THE FATHER.
Any theology that collapses them contradicts their own testimony.
BUT DO NOT DIMINISH YAHUSHA
This has been one of the governing safeguards of the entire series.
Rejecting Trinitarian formulation does NOT give us permission to turn Yahusha into merely another prophet.
Scripture will not allow it.
Yahusha is:
THE PREEXISTENT SON.
THE WORD MADE FLESH.
THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE ELOHIM.
THE PROMISED MESSIAH.
THE SON OF MAN.
THE APPOINTED HEIR OF ALL THINGS.
THE ONE THROUGH WHOM ALL THINGS CAME.
THE DAVIDIC KING.
THE HIGH PRIEST.
THE MEDIATOR.
THE APPOINTED JUDGE.
THE EXALTED LORD.
THE LAMB.
THE KING OF KINGS.
The Father has given him extraordinary authority.
And Scripture commands extraordinary honor toward him.
THE WORD EXISTED BEFORE BETHLEHEM
John takes us to:
“IN THE BEGINNING.”
The Word was there.
The Word was WITH Elohim.
The Word was theos.
All things came into existence THROUGH the Word.
Then:
“THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH” (John 1:14).
Yahusha says he had glory with the Father:
“BEFORE THE WORLD WAS” (John 17:5).
He says:
“I came down from heaven.”
He says:
“I came forth from the Father.”
Therefore we reject any theology claiming Yahusha’s existence simply began in Mary’s womb.
The Apostolic Witness presents genuine preexistence.
THE FATHER IS THE SOURCE — THE SON THE APPOINTED AGENT
Paul gives us an extraordinarily useful confession:
“ONE GOD, THE FATHER, OF WHOM ARE ALL THINGS… and ONE LORD JESUS CHRIST, BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS” (1 Corinthians 8:6).
OF WHOM.
BY WHOM.
SOURCE.
AGENCY.
The Father accomplishes His purpose through His Son.
This is not ordinary agency.
Yahusha is the unique Son, the supreme representative and image of the invisible Elohim.
But agency allows us to understand why Yahusha can carry the Father’s words, works, name, authority, and character without becoming the Father Himself.
SEEING THE SON REVEALS THE FATHER
Yahusha says:
“He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:9).
But Yahusha immediately explains:
“The words that I speak unto you I speak NOT OF MYSELF: but THE FATHER THAT DWELLETH IN ME, he doeth the works.”
Yahusha does not say:
“I AM THE FATHER.”
He reveals the Father perfectly.
The invisible Elohim is made known through His Son.
That is why Colossians calls Yahusha:
“THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD.”
THE FATHER AND SON ARE ONE
We do not reject John 10:30.
WE BELIEVE IT.
“I and my Father are one.”
But Scripture defines biblical oneness.
John 17:
“That they all may be ONE; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee.”
Father and Son possess extraordinary unity:
ONE PURPOSE.
ONE WORK.
ONE MISSION.
ONE TESTIMONY.
ONE LOVE.
ONE COVENANT PURPOSE.
ONE KINGDOM PURPOSE.
The Son perfectly represents the Father.
Yet distinction remains.
UNITY DOES NOT REQUIRE COLLAPSE.
YAHUSHA RECEIVES AUTHORITY
Yahusha declares:
“All authority is GIVEN unto me.”
Daniel foresaw the Son of Man receiving dominion.
John says the Father has given judgment to the Son.
Philippians says Elohim highly exalted Yahusha.
Acts says Elohim made him Lord and Messiah.
The fact that Yahusha RECEIVES authority does not diminish that authority.
It establishes its SOURCE.
YAHUAH AUTHORIZES HIS SON.
EVERY KNEE WILL BOW
Philippians 2 declares that every knee will bow and every tongue confess Yahusha Messiah as Lord.
We do not weaken that.
But the passage ends:
“TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER.”
The Father’s exaltation of the Son ultimately glorifies the Father.
The two are not competitors.
This is ordered Kingdom authority.
YAHUSHA IS OUR MEDIATOR
First Timothy 2:5 says:
“There is ONE GOD, and ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, the man Christ Jesus.”
Yahusha stands uniquely between Elohim and humanity.
He is our High Priest.
He intercedes.
He mediates the renewed covenant.
He brings us to the Father.
Yahusha himself says:
“No man cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME” (John 14:6).
The destination is the Father.
The Way is Yahusha.
THE SON REMAINS SUBJECT TO THE FATHER
First Corinthians 15:24–28 carries us to the consummation.
Messiah reigns.
Every enemy is defeated.
Then Yahusha delivers the Kingdom:
“TO GOD, EVEN THE FATHER.”
Finally:
“THE SON ALSO HIMSELF” becomes subject to the One who subjected everything to him.
Why?
“That GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL.”
This occurs at the culmination of Messiah’s reign.
Therefore Father-Son order is not merely temporary humiliation during Yahusha’s earthly life.
It belongs to the final Kingdom order.
NOW — THE RUACH HA’QODESH
What does Scripture require us to confess?
The Ruach is:
RUACH YAHUAH.
RUACH ELOHIM.
THE SPIRIT OF THE FATHER.
THE HOLY SPIRIT.
THE SPIRIT ASSOCIATED WITH MESSIAH.
The Ruach is Yahuah’s living, active presence working among and within His people.
But Scripture gives the Ruach actions we must not erase.
THE RUACH SPEAKS.
TEACHES.
GUIDES.
COMMANDS.
SEARCHES.
INTERCEDES.
EXERCISES WILL.
CAN BE GRIEVED.
EMPOWERS.
ANOINTS.
FILLS.
DWELLS WITHIN.
Therefore reducing the Ruach to mere impersonal electricity or energy does not adequately account for Scripture.
THE RUACH PROCEEDS FROM THE FATHER
Yahusha says:
“The Spirit of truth, which PROCEEDETH FROM THE FATHER” (John 15:26).
The Father sends the Ruach.
Yahusha receives the promised Ruach from the Father.
Yahusha pours out the Ruach.
Acts 2:33 gives the pattern:
THE FATHER → YAHUSHA → RUACH POURED OUT.
That ordered relationship should not be erased.
THE RUACH EMPOWERS OBEDIENCE
Ezekiel 36:27 destroys the false churchianity division between Torah and Spirit:
“I will put MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, and cause you to WALK IN MY STATUTES, and ye shall KEEP MY JUDGMENTS, AND DO THEM.”
The renewed covenant gives:
TORAH WRITTEN UPON THE HEART.
RUACH PLACED WITHIN.
OBEDIENCE FLOWING FROM WITHIN.
The Ruach does not liberate Yahuah’s people FROM His instructions.
The Ruach empowers His people TO WALK IN THEM.
FATHER — SON — RUACH
Scripture unquestionably presents all three.
THE FATHER.
THE SON.
THE RUACH.
Matthew 28:19 presents all three.
Second Corinthians 13:14 presents all three.
John 14–16 presents all three.
Acts 2 presents all three.
We do not deny that.
But three being present does not automatically establish every later metaphysical proposition concerning their relationship.
Association is not definition.
WHAT SCRIPTURE DOES NOT REQUIRE US TO SAY
This is equally important.
Scripture does NOT require us to use the word:
TRINITY.
Scripture does NOT require us to confess:
ONE OUSIA IN THREE HYPOSTASEIS.
Scripture does NOT use the exact phrase:
THREE CO-EQUAL PERSONS.
Scripture does NOT use the title:
“GOD THE SON.”
Scripture repeatedly uses:
SON OF GOD.
Scripture does NOT normally call the Ruach:
“GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.”
It repeatedly says:
SPIRIT OF GOD.
Those later terms may represent theological attempts to explain Scripture.
But they must never be confused with Scripture itself.
WHAT ABOUT “THE WORD WAS GOD”?
WE BELIEVE IT.
We do not erase John 1:1.
But John simultaneously says:
“THE WORD WAS WITH GOD.”
Relationship and distinction are built into the passage.
And John’s Gospel later records Yahusha identifying the Father as:
“THE ONLY TRUE GOD.”
Therefore John 1 must be interpreted with John 17.
Not against it.
WHAT ABOUT “MY LORD AND MY GOD”?
WE BELIEVE IT.
Thomas addresses Yahusha with extraordinary theos-language.
But the same chapter records Yahusha saying:
“MY GOD.”
Both witnesses stand.
We do not erase Thomas.
We do not erase Yahusha.
The whole counsel must account for BOTH.
WHAT ABOUT “THY THRONE, O GOD”?
WE BELIEVE IT.
Hebrews 1:8 addresses the Son with theos-language.
Then verse 9 says:
“GOD, EVEN THY GOD, hath anointed thee.”
Again:
THEOS-LANGUAGE FOR THE SON.
AND:
THE SON HAS AN ELOHIM.
We believe both.
THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SCRIPTURE AND SYSTEM
A system wants everything reduced to one formula.
Scripture frequently gives us relationship.
Father and Son.
Sender and Sent.
Giver and Receiver.
Source and Agent.
Elohim and His Messiah.
The One upon the throne and the Lamb.
Instead of forcing all those relationships into later philosophical categories, we allow Scripture’s own categories to remain authoritative.
WE DO NOT NEED TO SOLVE WHAT SCRIPTURE DOES NOT DEFINE
This may be one of the most important conclusions of the entire series.
Western theology wants exhaustive metaphysical definitions.
What is Elohim’s substance?
How can Father and Son share divine attributes?
How precisely does the Ruach relate ontologically to Father and Son?
What exactly constitutes personhood within divine being?
Scripture does not answer every philosophical question theologians later asked.
And that is all right.
We are not authorized to invent certainty where Yahuah has not provided revelation.
“THE SECRET THINGS BELONG UNTO YAHUAH OUR ELOHIM: but those things which are revealed belong unto us” (Deuteronomy 29:29).
There is wisdom in stopping where revelation stops.
THE BIBLICAL CONFESSION
So after twelve teachings, here is what we can confess without apology:
YAHUAH IS ONE.
YAHUAH IS THE FATHER.
THE FATHER IS THE ONE ELOHIM.
YAHUSHA IS HIS UNIQUE SON AND MESSIAH.
YAHUSHA PREEXISTED HIS HUMAN BIRTH.
YAHUSHA IS THE WORD MADE FLESH.
YAHUSHA IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE ELOHIM.
ALL THINGS CAME THROUGH YAHUSHA.
THE FATHER SENT THE SON.
THE SON PERFECTLY REVEALS THE FATHER.
THE SON SPEAKS THE FATHER’S WORDS.
THE SON PERFORMS THE FATHER’S WORKS.
THE SON CARRIES THE FATHER’S AUTHORITY.
THE FATHER EXALTED THE SON.
THE FATHER GAVE ALL AUTHORITY TO THE SON.
YAHUSHA IS LORD, KING, MESSIAH, HIGH PRIEST, MEDIATOR, AND JUDGE.
EVERY KNEE WILL BOW BEFORE HIM.
THE FATHER IS NOT THE SON.
THE SON IS NOT THE FATHER.
THE SON HAS THE FATHER AS HIS ELOHIM.
THE SON ULTIMATELY SUBJECTS HIMSELF TO THE FATHER.
THE RUACH HA’QODESH IS THE RUACH OF YAHUAH.
THE RUACH SPEAKS, TEACHES, GUIDES, INTERCEDES, EMPOWERS, FILLS, AND DWELLS WITHIN YAHUAH’S PEOPLE.
THE RUACH PROCEEDS FROM THE FATHER.
THE RUACH GLORIFIES YAHUSHA.
THE RUACH EMPOWERS COVENANT OBEDIENCE.
That confession does not diminish Yahusha.
It EXALTS HIM according to Scripture.
And it does not diminish Yahuah.
It preserves the Father’s supremacy exactly as Yahusha and the apostles proclaimed it.
THE FINAL WATCHMAN’S WARNING
Do not allow anyone to tell you that you must choose between Scripture and a theological label.
Do not allow “Trinitarian” to become a substitute for biblical faithfulness.
Do not allow “Unitarian” to become one either.
Do not allow “Oneness” to become one.
Do not allow “anti-Trinitarian” to become one.
LABELS DO NOT DETERMINE TRUTH.
SCRIPTURE DOES.
If someone says Yahusha is the Father, test it.
If someone says Yahusha is merely an ordinary man, test it.
If someone says the Ruach is merely impersonal energy, test it.
If someone says you must confess three co-equal persons in one essence because a fourth-century creed requires it, TEST THAT TOO.
No doctrine receives immunity from examination.
WE WILL NOT DIMINISH YAHUSHA
This series began with that safeguard.
We finish with it.
Rejecting later Trinitarian formulations must NEVER become an excuse to strip Yahusha of what Scripture gives him.
He is not merely another prophet.
Not merely another teacher.
Not merely another messenger.
HE IS THE SON.
THE WORD MADE FLESH.
THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE ELOHIM.
THE MESSIAH.
THE SON OF MAN.
THE KING.
THE HIGH PRIEST.
THE MEDIATOR.
THE JUDGE.
THE LAMB.
THE ONE THROUGH WHOM ALL THINGS CAME.
THE ONE YAHUAH HIGHLY EXALTED.
THE ONE BEFORE WHOM EVERY KNEE WILL BOW.
THE ONE THROUGH WHOM WE COME TO THE FATHER.
That is enormous.
WE DO NOT NEED TO MAKE YAHUSHA THE FATHER IN ORDER TO EXALT HIM.
We simply need to believe what Yahuah says about His Son.
AND WE WILL NOT DIMINISH THE FATHER
Yahusha never competed with his Father.
He glorified Him.
Obeyed Him.
Prayed to Him.
Represented Him.
Revealed Him.
And brought people TO HIM.
Yahusha taught us to pray:
“OUR FATHER.”
He said:
“My Father is greater than I.”
He called Him:
“MY GOD.”
And at the consummation Yahusha delivers the Kingdom to:
“GOD, EVEN THE FATHER.”
The Son’s mission ultimately brings everything back into proper order under the Father.
THE SERIES ENDS WHERE SCRIPTURE ENDS
Not at Nicaea.
Not at Constantinople.
Not with Arius.
Not with Athanasius.
Not with Tertullian.
Not with Calvin.
Not with Rome.
Not with Protestant ism.
Not with Judaism.
Not with Unitarianism.
Not with Oneness.
Not with any theological institution claiming authority over the text.
It ends where it began:
WITH THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF ELOHIM.
Torah establishes the foundation.
The Prophets confirm it.
The Writings illuminate it.
The Apostolic Witness reveals Yahusha within it.
And all four witnesses must agree.
THE KINGDOM RETURNS TO THE FATHER
This is where the entire biblical story ultimately leads.
First Corinthians 15:24 says:
“Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up THE KINGDOM TO GOD, EVEN THE FATHER.”
Yahusha reigns.
Yahusha conquers.
Yahusha destroys every opposing authority.
Yahusha defeats death.
Every enemy is placed beneath his feet.
Then something extraordinary happens.
The victorious Son does not overthrow the Father.
He does not replace the Father.
He does not become the Father.
HE DELIVERS THE KINGDOM TO THE FATHER.
Then Paul says:
“When all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall THE SON ALSO HIMSELF BE SUBJECT unto him that put all things under him, THAT GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL” (1 Corinthians 15:28).
That is where the story ends.
THE FATHER REMAINS THE FATHER.
THE SON REMAINS THE SON.
THE SON’S VICTORY GLORIFIES THE FATHER.
And Elohim becomes all in all.
REVELATION GIVES US THE SAME PICTURE
Revelation does not erase this distinction.
It gives us:
THE ONE UPON THE THRONE.
AND:
THE LAMB.
Revelation 5:13 declares:
“Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto HIM THAT SITTETH UPON THE THRONE, AND UNTO THE LAMB for ever and ever.”
Do not erase either one.
THE ONE UPON THE THRONE.
THE LAMB.
DISTINCTION.
UNITY.
GLORY.
KINGDOM.
And Revelation 22:3 speaks of:
“The throne of GOD AND OF THE LAMB.”
This is not rivalry.
It is Kingdom order brought to completion.
THE SON BRINGS US TO THE FATHER
This is something modern religion frequently reverses.
Yahusha did not come to make himself the final destination while the Father disappears into the background.
Yahusha came to reconcile us TO THE FATHER.
John 14:6:
“No man cometh UNTO THE FATHER, but by me.”
Notice both truths.
There is NO WAY to the Father except through Yahusha.
But Yahusha identifies the destination:
THE FATHER.
Peter says Messiah suffered:
“That he might BRING US TO GOD” (1 Peter 3:18).
Paul says through Messiah:
“We both have ACCESS BY ONE SPIRIT UNTO THE FATHER” (Ephesians 2:18).
There is the biblical order again:
THROUGH THE SON.
BY THE RUACH.
UNTO THE FATHER.
That is an extraordinary summary of the entire relationship.
THROUGH THE SON — BY THE RUACH — UNTO THE FATHER
Hold onto that.
THROUGH YAHUSHA.
BY THE RUACH.
UNTO THE FATHER.
Not three competing Elohim.
Not three interchangeable identities.
Not Father pretending to be Son and then pretending to be Spirit.
And not an ordinary human Messiah disconnected from preexistence, creation, and divine glory.
The biblical testimony is richer than all of those reductions.
THE FATHER PURPOSES.
THE SON ACCOMPLISHES THE FATHER’S MISSION.
THE RUACH EMPOWERS, REVEALS, INDWELLS, AND TRANSFORMS.
And the redeemed are brought through Messiah into covenant relationship with THE FATHER.
THIS IS WHY YAHUSHA MATTERS SO MUCH
There is no biblical confession of the Father that bypasses the Son.
First John 2:23 declares:
“Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father.”
Yahusha says:
“He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him” (John 5:23).
Therefore rejecting false theological formulations does not permit anyone to treat Yahusha casually.
You cannot claim Yahuah while rejecting His Son.
You cannot claim to honor the Father while dishonoring the One He sent.
You cannot claim covenant faithfulness while rejecting the Father’s appointed King.
THE FATHER HIMSELF REQUIRES HONOR FOR HIS SON.
AND THIS IS WHY THE FATHER CANNOT BE ERASED
The opposite error is equally dangerous.
Modern Christianity frequently speaks almost exclusively about “Jesus” while the Father becomes little more than theological background.
But Yahusha did not teach that.
He continually directed people toward:
MY FATHER.
YOUR FATHER.
THE FATHER WHO SENT ME.
THE FATHER WHO GAVE ME AUTHORITY.
THE FATHER WHO HEARS.
THE FATHER WHO LOVES.
THE FATHER WHO WILL BE GLORIFIED.
The Son reveals the Father.
If our theology of the Son causes the Father to disappear, something has gone seriously wrong.
THE RUACH DOES NOT REPLACE EITHER ONE
Likewise, the Ruach ha’Qodesh does not create an independent spiritual religion disconnected from Father and Son.
Yahusha says the Ruach:
“SHALL GLORIFY ME” (John 16:14).
The Ruach proceeds from the Father.
The Ruach bears witness concerning Yahusha.
The Ruach dwells within the people of Yahuah.
The Ruach writes covenant faithfulness into life.
The Ruach empowers obedience.
The Ruach does not glorify rebellion against Torah.
The Ruach does not create another gospel.
The Ruach leads Yahuah’s people into truth.
THE TEST OF EVERY DOCTRINE
So here is the standard going forward.
When someone brings you a theological claim, ask:
DOES TORAH SUPPORT IT?
DO THE PROPHETS SUPPORT IT?
DO THE WRITINGS SUPPORT IT?
DOES THE APOSTOLIC WITNESS SUPPORT IT?
Does it require ignoring verses?
Does it require redefining straightforward statements?
Does it require inserting words Scripture never says?
Does it preserve the distinction between Father and Son?
Does it preserve Yahusha’s extraordinary identity and exaltation?
Does it account honestly for the Ruach?
Does it agree with the whole counsel?
If not:
REJECT IT.
No matter how old it is.
No matter how many denominations teach it.
No matter how many theologians defend it.
No matter how many councils endorsed it.
TRUTH DOES NOT NEED PROTECTION FROM QUESTIONS
If something is true, examining it will not destroy it.
Truth does not fear Hebrew.
Truth does not fear Greek.
Truth does not fear context.
Truth does not fear history.
Truth does not fear comparison.
Truth does not fear the Four Witnesses.
Only error needs Scripture selectively quoted and questions forbidden.
Therefore:
TEST ALL THINGS.
HOLD FAST THAT WHICH IS GOOD.
DO NOT TRADE ONE CREED FOR ANOTHER
And here is the final warning to those leaving traditional Trinitarian theology:
Do not merely exchange one man-made theological box for another.
Do not become so determined to disprove the Trinity that you begin denying passages you previously acknowledged.
Do not diminish Yahusha.
Do not deny his preexistence because it complicates your system.
Do not erase John 1.
Do not erase John 17:5.
Do not erase Colossians 1.
Do not erase Hebrews 1.
Do not erase Philippians 2.
Do not erase Revelation 5.
Likewise:
Do not erase John 17:3.
Do not erase John 20:17.
Do not erase 1 Corinthians 8:6.
Do not erase 1 Corinthians 11:3.
Do not erase 1 Corinthians 15:28.
Do not erase Revelation 3:12.
LET ALL THE WITNESSES SPEAK.
WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A LABEL
Someone will inevitably ask:
“So what are you?”
Trinitarian?
Unitarian?
Binitarian?
Arian?
Oneness?
Something else?
My answer is simple:
I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A LABEL. I AM LOOKING FOR THE TRUTH.
If a label requires me to deny Scripture, I reject the label.
If a theological camp requires me to silence inconvenient witnesses, I reject the camp.
I will confess what Scripture reveals.
I will refuse to pretend certainty where Scripture does not define.
And I will continue testing my understanding against the whole counsel of Elohim.
THE BIBLICAL CONFESSION — STATED PLAINLY
YAHUAH IS OUR ELOHIM.
YAHUAH IS ONE.
YAHUAH IS THE FATHER.
YAHUSHA IS HIS SON.
YAHUSHA IS THE PROMISED MESSIAH.
YAHUSHA IS THE PREEXISTENT WORD MADE FLESH.
YAHUSHA IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE ELOHIM.
YAHUSHA IS THE ONE THROUGH WHOM YAHUAH CREATED.
YAHUSHA IS THE ONE SENT BY THE FATHER.
YAHUSHA PERFECTLY REVEALS THE FATHER.
YAHUSHA IS THE KING YAHUAH APPOINTED.
YAHUSHA IS OUR HIGH PRIEST.
YAHUSHA IS OUR MEDIATOR.
YAHUSHA IS THE APPOINTED JUDGE.
YAHUSHA IS THE LAMB.
YAHUSHA IS LORD.
YAHUSHA HAS BEEN HIGHLY EXALTED BY THE FATHER.
EVERY KNEE WILL BOW BEFORE HIM.
THE FATHER IS NOT THE SON.
THE SON IS NOT THE FATHER.
THE SON CALLS THE FATHER HIS ELOHIM.
THE SON WILL DELIVER THE KINGDOM TO THE FATHER.
THE SON WILL REMAIN SUBJECT TO THE FATHER.
THE RUACH HA’QODESH IS THE RUACH OF YAHUAH.
THE RUACH PROCEEDS FROM THE FATHER.
THE RUACH SPEAKS.
THE RUACH TEACHES.
THE RUACH GUIDES.
THE RUACH INTERCEDES.
THE RUACH EMPOWERS.
THE RUACH INDWELLS.
THE RUACH GLORIFIES YAHUSHA.
THE RUACH EMPOWERS COVENANT OBEDIENCE.
THROUGH THE SON, BY THE RUACH, WE HAVE ACCESS UNTO THE FATHER.
That confession requires no fourth-century philosophical vocabulary.
It requires Scripture.
THE FINAL WORD
The purpose of this series has never been merely to attack the word “Trinity.”
The purpose has been to restore the proper order of authority.
SCRIPTURE FIRST.
THEOLOGY SECOND.
TEXT FIRST.
INTERPRETATION SECOND.
REVELATION FIRST.
CREED SECOND.
If a creed accurately summarizes Scripture, then whatever truth it contains was already true because SCRIPTURE taught it.
The creed did not make it true.
And if a creed goes beyond Scripture, Scripture places limits upon the creed—not the other way around.
So we finish exactly where we began:
WHAT DOES THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF ELOHIM SAY?
Not:
What must I believe to satisfy a denomination?
Not:
What must I confess to satisfy church tradition?
Not:
What terminology will keep people from calling me a heretic?
But:
WHAT HAS YAHUAH REVEALED?
That is the question.
That is the standard.
And that is where we stand.
YAHUAH IS ONE.
YAHUSHA IS HIS SON AND MESSIAH.
THE RUACH HA’QODESH IS HIS RUACH.
THE FATHER IS NOT THE SON.
THE SON IS NOT THE FATHER.
YAHUSHA PERFECTLY REVEALS THE FATHER WHO SENT HIM.
WE WILL NOT DIMINISH THE SON.
WE WILL NOT ERASE THE FATHER.
WE WILL NOT SILENCE THE RUACH.
WE WILL NOT FORCE SCRIPTURE INTO A CREED.
WE WILL LET SCRIPTURE DEFINE THE CONFESSION.
Torah.
Prophets.
Writings.
Apostolic Witness.
FOUR WITNESSES.
ONE STANDARD.
THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF ELOHIM.
