THE AWAKENING OF EPHRAIM
PART 23 — THE FINAL CALL TO PREPARE
The Preparation Day Is Almost Complete
Throughout this series we have explored the awakening of Ephraim.
We have explored the scattering.
We have explored the dry bones.
We have explored the restoration of Israel.
We have explored the Two Sticks.
We have explored the Gospel of the Kingdom.
We have explored the Two Witnesses.
We have explored the Greater Exodus.
We have explored the coming Kingdom.
We have explored the purpose of Ephraim’s Cry.
We have explored the calling placed upon each of us for such a time as this.
Now we arrive at perhaps the most important question of all.
What do we do now?
Information alone does not transform lives.
Knowledge alone does not produce obedience.
Understanding alone does not prepare a people.
Truth demands a response.
Every prophetic revelation demands a response.
Every call to repentance demands a response.
Every invitation to covenant demands a response.
Every warning demands a response.
The question is no longer whether the awakening is occurring.
The awakening is occurring.
The question is no longer whether the remnant is gathering.
The remnant is gathering.
The question is no longer whether the Gospel of the Kingdom is advancing.
The Gospel of the Kingdom is advancing.
The question is no longer whether the King is coming.
The King is coming.
The question now becomes:
Are we prepared?
One of the most overlooked themes in all of Scripture is preparation.
Noah prepared.
Abraham prepared.
Joseph prepared.
Moses prepared.
Joshua prepared.
David prepared.
John the Immerser prepared.
The disciples prepared.
The wise virgins prepared.
Preparation is one of the defining characteristics of faith.
Faith does not merely believe.
Faith responds.
Faith acts.
Faith prepares.
This is why Scripture repeatedly calls believers to watch.
To remain alert.
To remain awake.
To remain ready.
Not because we know the day.
Not because we know the hour.
But because we understand the season.
Yahusha never rebuked His followers for watching.
He rebuked those who refused to discern the signs around them.
The faithful watch.
The faithful prepare.
The faithful remain ready.
One of the most significant prophetic patterns in Scripture is the pattern established in creation itself.
Six days of labor.
Then Sabbath.
Six days of work.
Then rest.
Six days of preparation.
Then completion.
Throughout Scripture the sixth day becomes the preparation day.
The day when the work is completed.
The day when the house is prepared.
The day when everything is made ready.
The day before Sabbath arrives.
Many students of Scripture have recognized the prophetic significance of this pattern.
A day with Yahuah is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.
The pattern points toward six thousand years of human history followed by the Kingdom Sabbath.
Six thousand years of man’s governments.
Then the government of Messiah.
Six thousand years of conflict.
Then the reign of peace.
Six thousand years of preparation.
Then the Kingdom.
While no man knows the day or the hour, it becomes increasingly difficult to ignore the convergence of prophetic indicators surrounding us.
The nations are shaking.
The systems of the world are shaking.
The foundations of society are shaking.
Deception is increasing.
Lawlessness is increasing.
Confusion is increasing.
Yet simultaneously something else is increasing.
The awakening is increasing.
The remnant is increasing.
The hunger for truth is increasing.
The restoration is increasing.
The Gospel of the Kingdom is increasing.
The witness is increasing.
The gathering is increasing.
The signs are becoming more visible.
The patterns are becoming more apparent.
The season is becoming more obvious.
Those with eyes to see can see.
Those with ears to hear can hear.
Not because they know every detail.
Not because they understand every prophecy perfectly.
But because they recognize the season.
The preparation day appears to be drawing toward its conclusion.
This realization should not produce fear.
It should produce urgency.
Not panic.
Purpose.
Not anxiety.
Action.
Preparation is not about hiding.
Preparation is not about speculation.
Preparation is not about endlessly debating prophecy.
Preparation is about obedience.
Preparation is about discipleship.
Preparation is about covenant faithfulness.
Preparation is about becoming the people Yahuah has called us to be.
So what should we be preparing?
First, we must prepare our hearts.
Repentance must remain central.
Humility must remain central.
Faithfulness must remain central.
Obedience must remain central.
The condition of the heart matters.
The Kingdom is not built upon appearances.
The Kingdom is built upon transformed lives.
Second, we must prepare our households.
The first discipleship ministry is the family.
The first mission field is often the home.
The first responsibility is those entrusted to our care.
Strong families build strong communities.
Strong communities build strong assemblies.
Strong assemblies strengthen the remnant.
Third, we must prepare our understanding.
This is not the hour for biblical illiteracy.
This is not the hour for shallow faith.
This is not the hour for dependence upon others to study for us.
Every believer must learn to study.
Learn to test.
Learn to examine.
Learn to search the Scriptures.
Learn to hear the Shepherd’s voice.
The days ahead will require mature disciples.
Fourth, we must prepare our witness.
The Gospel of the Kingdom must be proclaimed.
Not hidden.
Not softened.
Not compromised.
Proclaimed.
The world does not need another motivational message.
The world needs the Gospel of the Kingdom.
The world needs repentance.
The world needs redemption.
The world needs restoration.
The world needs the King.
This is why every believer has been given a testimony.
Every testimony is a witness.
Every witness is an opportunity.
Every opportunity is part of the Kingdom mission.
You may never stand behind a pulpit.
You may never write a book.
You may never teach a class.
Yet your testimony still matters.
Your witness still matters.
Your obedience still matters.
Your assignment still matters.
The King has placed every servant exactly where that servant is needed.
Some influence thousands.
Some influence dozens.
Some influence a single life.
All of it matters.
All of it serves the Kingdom.
One of the greatest dangers facing the remnant today is the illusion that there is still plenty of time.
People assume tomorrow is guaranteed.
People assume preparation can wait.
People assume repentance can wait.
People assume discipleship can wait.
People assume obedience can wait.
Yet Scripture repeatedly warns against such thinking.
The call of the watchman has never been:
“Prepare later.”
The call has always been:
“Prepare now.”
The call has always been urgent.
The call has always been immediate.
The call has always been directed toward action.
Throughout Scripture, preparation always precedes visitation.
Preparation preceded the Flood.
Preparation preceded the Exodus.
Preparation preceded the crossing of the Jordan.
Preparation preceded the coming of Messiah.
Preparation precedes the return of the King.
This is why the remnant must understand the season.
Not to speculate.
Not to set dates.
Not to make predictions.
But to prepare.
The purpose of prophecy is not curiosity.
The purpose of prophecy is preparation.
The purpose of prophecy is obedience.
The purpose of prophecy is readiness.
The purpose of prophecy is discipleship.
Too many become fascinated with prophetic events while neglecting prophetic responsibility.
The question is not simply:
“What is going to happen?”
The question is:
“What should I be doing?”
The answer is remarkably consistent throughout Scripture.
Repent.
Believe.
Obey.
Endure.
Prepare.
Proclaim.
Disciple.
Watch.
Remain faithful.
The King has already told us what to do.
The problem is not lack of instruction.
The problem is lack of action.
This is why the parable of the ten virgins becomes increasingly important.
All ten were waiting.
All ten expected the bridegroom.
All ten appeared prepared.
Yet only five were actually ready.
The difference was oil.
The difference was preparation.
The difference was diligence.
The difference was readiness.
The oil cannot be borrowed at the last moment.
The oil cannot be purchased at the last moment.
The oil is accumulated through a life of faithful walking.
A life of obedience.
A life of study.
A life of prayer.
A life of discipleship.
A life of covenant faithfulness.
This is why now is the time to trim the wicks.
Now is the time to fill the lamps.
Now is the time to remove distractions.
Now is the time to remove compromise.
Now is the time to strengthen weak areas.
Now is the time to deepen understanding.
Now is the time to mature in the faith.
Now is the time to become watchmen.
Now is the time to become witnesses.
Now is the time to become disciples who make disciples.
The fields are white unto harvest.
Yahusha declared this nearly two thousand years ago.
How much more true is it today?
The harvest is enormous.
The opportunities are enormous.
The need is enormous.
Yet the laborers remain few.
Many consume.
Few produce.
Many listen.
Few teach.
Many receive.
Few disciple.
Many talk about the Kingdom.
Few actively advance the Kingdom.
This must change.
The remnant cannot remain spectators.
The remnant must become participants.
The remnant cannot remain consumers.
The remnant must become laborers.
The remnant cannot remain silent.
The remnant must become witnesses.
The remnant cannot remain asleep.
The remnant must awaken fully.
Every believer has been given a sphere of influence.
A family.
A neighborhood.
A workplace.
A community.
A circle of friends.
A ministry.
A mission field.
The question is not whether you have a mission field.
The question is whether you recognize it.
The question is whether you are willing to labor in it.
The Gospel of the Kingdom was never intended to remain inside buildings.
It was designed to move outward.
House to house.
Family to family.
Community to community.
Nation to nation.
Generation to generation.
This is why discipleship is so critical.
The Kingdom advances one disciple at a time.
One family at a time.
One testimony at a time.
One act of obedience at a time.
One life transformed at a time.
Never underestimate what Yahuah can do through a faithful servant.
Never underestimate what Yahuah can do through a faithful family.
Never underestimate what Yahuah can do through a faithful remnant.
Throughout Scripture He repeatedly accomplishes extraordinary things through small groups of obedient people.
The issue has never been numbers.
The issue has always been faithfulness.
The issue has always been obedience.
The issue has always been availability.
The issue has always been willingness.
The King is not looking for celebrities.
The King is looking for faithful servants.
The King is not looking for popularity.
The King is looking for obedience.
The King is not looking for perfection.
The King is looking for faithfulness.
The hour is growing late.
The preparation day is nearing its conclusion.
The signs continue increasing.
The witness continues spreading.
The remnant continues awakening.
The Gospel of the Kingdom continues advancing.
The King continues gathering His people.
Therefore let us labor while it is still day.
Let us teach while there is still time.
Let us disciple while there is still time.
Let us proclaim while there is still time.
Let us prepare while there is still time.
Let us trim our wicks.
Let us fill our lamps.
Let us strengthen our households.
Let us deepen our understanding.
Let us walk in covenant.
Let us walk as Messiah walked.
Let us do what Messiah did.
Let us teach what Messiah taught.
And let us be found faithful when the King returns.
One day preparation will end.
One day the King will return.
One day faith will become sight.
One day the Kingdom will be established.
One day the inheritance will be received.
One day the restoration will be complete.
Until that day we work.
Until that day we watch.
Until that day we prepare.
Until that day we proclaim.
Until that day we endure.
Until that day we remain faithful.
The awakening of Ephraim is not merely about discovering who we are.
It is about becoming who we were called to be.
The Gospel of the Kingdom is not merely about information.
It is about transformation.
The restoration is not merely about knowledge.
It is about obedience.
The Kingdom is not merely about the future.
It is about living as Kingdom citizens today.
This is the final call.
Prepare your heart.
Prepare your home.
Prepare your witness.
Prepare your understanding.
Prepare your life.
Prepare the way of the King.
The remnant is awakening.
The witness is spreading.
The Kingdom is drawing near.
The King is gathering His people.
And the preparation day is almost complete.
