The true Name of the Messiah, Yahusha (ืืืืฉืข), carries the divine meaning of “Yahuah Saves.” However, through centuries of linguistic manipulation, the original Hebrew pronunciation and meaning were altered and concealed. Not only did transliterations into Greek, Latin, and English distort the Name, but the Masoretic vowel point system, introduced between the 6th and 10th centuries AD, corrupted the pronunciation of sacred Hebrew Names. This was done deliberately to obscure the Name of Yahuah (ืืืื) and its connection to Yahusha.

The name Yahusha (ืืืืฉืข) is a compound of two Hebrew words:

What changed?

What Are Masoretic Vowel Points?
Between the 6th and 10th centuries AD, a group of Jewish scribes called the Masoretes developed a system of vowel points to preserve pronunciation. However, these vowel points did not exist in Paleo-Hebrew and were added centuries after the original Hebrew texts were written.
The Masoretes deliberately changed the pronunciation of the Name of Yahuah (ืืืื) and Yahusha (ืืืืฉืข).
Jeremiah 8:8 โ “How do you say, โWe are wise, and the Torah of ืืืื is with usโ? But look, the false pen of the scribes has worked falsehood!”
How Did the Masoretes Corrupt the Names?
They inserted vowel points to obscure the true pronunciation of Yahuah (ืืืื).
โข Instead of allowing ืืืื to be pronounced as “Yahuah,” they added vowel points from “Adonai” and “Elohim,” leading to incorrect renditions like “Jehovah” and “Yahweh.”

Greek had no “Y” sound โ Hebrew Yod (ื) became Iota (ฮ), turning Yahu- into Ie-.
Greek had no “Sh” sound โ Hebrew Shin (ืฉ) became Sigma (ฮฃ), removing the “Shua” sound.
Greek grammar required names to end in -s โ The masculine -ฯ (-s) ending was added.
Result: ืืืืฉืข (Yahusha) โ ืืฉืืข (Yeshua) โ แผธฮทฯฮฟแฟฆฯ (Iฤsous)
