What Happened This Morning
As of Saturday, February 28, 2026, multiple major outlets are reporting that the United States and Israel launched military strikes on Iran, with explosions reported in Tehran and other areas and widespread fear and disruption inside Iran.
Reuters
Reuters reports that strikes began Saturday morning, with residents describing chaos, smoke rising over Tehran, queues at fuel stations, schools and universities closing, and a warning from Iran’s top security body that more attacks were expected.
Reuters
The Associated Press reports that President Donald Trump said the U.S. had begun “major combat operations in Iran,” and urged the Iranian people to “take over your government.”

What We Must Not Do Right Now
Do not run ahead of confirmed facts. In a fast-moving conflict, early claims, clips, and rumors are routinely wrong or weaponized.
Do not baptize propaganda. Every side in war speaks in narratives. Covenant people must be people of truth, not people of emotional reflex.
Do not confuse “watchman” with “sensationalist.” Watchmen warn with sobriety, not hysteria.
Do not turn suffering into entertainment. War hits civilians first. That matters to Elohim, and it should matter to anyone who claims to fear Him.
What We Can Say With Certainty
This is a significant escalation with real-world consequences. The reports describe active strikes, civilian fear, and government warnings inside Iran.
Reuters
The stated rationale from U.S. leadership is national security and threats from Iran; the public messaging also contains regime-change language aimed at the Iranian people.
AP News
International leaders are already warning about the risk of a wider regional war and calling for renewed negotiations.

How a Covenant People Should Interpret a Moment Like This
This is where many believers collapse into two equal and opposite errors.
One side becomes politically intoxicated and calls everything “righteous.”
The other side becomes spiritually sleepy and calls everything “normal.”
Scripture will not allow either.
Psalm 2 shows that nations rage, rulers counsel together, and Elohim laughs—not because evil is funny, but because no throne stands above His decree. Psalm 2 also warns kings and rulers to be wise, to be instructed, and to tremble—because human power is temporary and accountability is real. (Psalm 2:1–12)
Yahusha warned that wars and rumors of wars would come, but the command was not panic—it was endurance, discernment, and fidelity. (Matthew 24:6–13) The point is not to date-set. The point is to stay clean, sober, and obedient while the world shakes.
The Watchman Standard
A true watchman does three things at the same time.
He tells the truth.
He refuses manipulation.
He calls people back to covenant faithfulness.
If we cannot do all three, we are not functioning as watchmen—we are functioning as amplifiers for someone else’s agenda.
Truth: we acknowledge what is reported, and we wait for confirmed details.
Refusal of manipulation: we do not accept the first narrative simply because it flatters our tribe.
Covenant call: we respond with repentance, intercession, and obedience—not scrolling addiction and angry commentary.

What to Pray and What to Practice
Pray for restraint and for protection of the innocent. Elohim hears the cry of blood and the oppression of the vulnerable. (Genesis 4:10; Proverbs 24:11–12)
Pray for truth to prevail over deception. In wartime, lies multiply. (Proverbs 12:22)
Pray for leaders to fear Elohim, because rulers answer to Him whether they acknowledge Him or not. (Proverbs 21:1)
Guard your speech. Do not bear false witness by reposting what you cannot verify. (Exodus 20:16)
Guard your heart. Fear-driven consumption is a spiritual trap. (Proverbs 4:23)
Stay in the assignments you already know are righteous: Torah obedience, prayer, household order, and readiness. (Revelation 12:17; Revelation 14:12)
What This Signals Prophetically Without Date-Setting
Escalation in the Middle East is not “new,” but it is never meaningless. It tightens alliances, shifts economies, strains currencies, destabilizes borders, and increases the appetite for security solutions. That is not speculation—that is the predictable fruit of conflict. And it is exactly why covenant people must keep their minds clear: systems will offer “peace and safety” narratives while expanding control mechanisms. (1 Thessalonians 5:1–3)
So the watchman warning is not, “Here is the day and hour.”
The watchman warning is, “Do not be deceived. Do not be swept. Do not trade truth for comfort. Do not trade obedience for survival.”
Closing Charge
If this report is accurate—and multiple major outlets are reporting it—then the shaking has intensified.
That does not change our assignment. It clarifies it.
Reuters
Do not rage with the nations.
Do not chant with the crowds.
Do not become a disciple of headlines.
Be a disciple of Yahusha.
Hold to the testimony of Yahusha.
Walk in the commandments of Elohim.
Speak truth. Verify claims. Refuse manipulation. Pray without ceasing.
And remember: empires rise and fall. Covenant stands.
As believers, our response is not panic, not rage, not partisan allegiance — but prayer.
We pray for all who are involved — for soldiers on every side, for civilians caught in the middle, for leaders making decisions that carry weight and consequence. We pray for restraint where escalation tempts. We pray for wisdom where pride seeks dominance. We pray for protection over the innocent and clarity where deception thrives.
We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as commanded (Psalm 122:6). Not a fragile political peace, but the peace that comes from alignment with the purposes of Yahuah.
We pray that righteousness would prevail over ambition. That truth would prevail over propaganda. That justice would prevail over vengeance.
And above all, we pray as Yahusha taught us to pray:
“Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)
Empires move. Nations rage. Headlines shift.
But covenant stands.
Let us remain sober, anchored in Torah, faithful to the testimony of Yahusha, and steadfast in obedience while the world trembles.
May the will of the Father be done — in Jerusalem, in the nations, and in us.
